JOHN RILEY WILLINGHAM

John Riley (Coyote) Willingham- Raw, cutting edge vocals and songwriting just as convicting, John Riley has been playing acoustic shows across the state of Oklahoma.

He grew up in Bridge Creek,Oklahoma. While he was growing up it was mainly a small town that was a rich farming community. Both of his parents worked full time jobs and they still made the time to keep and raise livestock. John grew up tending to a huge garden along with his siblings, explains where his green thumb came from. 

John has been playing music in a professional capacity for the last 15 years. At the mere age of 7, his uncle Mike, got him into playing guitar. Through his youthful years, John's family faced several life changing obsticles, which greatly influenced his songwriting. 'Black Sheep', is an original song he wrote for the special little girl in his life, Finley, after she requested the nursery rhyme. His got his inspiration for the song after telling his family he is quitting his job to pursue music full time. John is influenced not only by his stories, but also others around. 
    
John's style is Oklahoma Folk Country. He strives to keep his music Authenitc and realistic, telling real life stories of his life and others. John gets his inspiration from the many talented musicians he has met along the way throughout his journey. His plan for the future is to steadily continue to make his way through Oklahoma and into other states to share his passion for music with others.
